My name is Dasha, and I’ve been working with children for over 10 years.
I started playing chess when I was 10 and it has stayed with me ever since. Over the years, I’ve explored many different formats, always looking for ways to make a child’s experience both meaningful and joyful.

I worked in summer camps and organized children’s events. Later, I created Babynotsitting. Urban day camps and activities where kids could feel free and express themselves.

Together with a friend, I also co-created Moves Tel Aviv  a chess community for kids and adults, where the game became a way to connect and get inspired.

I’ve always cared about understanding children more deeply, which led me to study the Montessori approach and work with children through this method.

All of these experiences shaped my teaching philosophy: respect each child’s pace, notice their individuality, and open new horizons through play.

Today, I teach online chess lessons, organize tournaments and gatherings, bringing together my educational experience, love for the game, and the ability to inspire children so that chess becomes a whole new world for them.

I’m always delighted when a student suddenly spots their very first plan on the board or makes a move with confidence. For me, that’s a real victory.
